Personal data

The data controller is LUMINA Consulting & Partners, reachable at contact@luminaconsultingpartners.com. This site sets no cookies, has no forms and loads nothing from third parties: fonts and images are served by the site itself.

Audience measurement. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. Your IP address is used only to compute an anonymous fingerprint, renewed every day, which can neither identify you nor follow you from one day or one site to the next. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read.

Hosting. Like any web server, Vercel's processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in the site working and staying secure.

Display preference. If you choose the blog's light mode, that choice is kept in your browser, never sent anywhere, and you can clear it at any time. It follows from your own request and therefore needs no consent.

Bookings and emails. If you book a call or write to me, I receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell me. This data is used only to prepare and hold the conversation, then to follow up if you wish. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request. It is kept for three years after our last contact, then deleted, and is never sold or shared.

Recipients and transfers

Your data is accessible only to me and to the providers that process it on my behalf: Vercel Inc. (hosting, audience measurement), Google LLC (bookings) and my email provider.

Vercel and Google are based in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards the GDPR provides for: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies; in Rwanda, Law No. 058/2021 of 13 October 2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy. Either way, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to contact@luminaconsultingpartners.com. I reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: your own country's in the European Union (in France, the CNIL), or in Rwanda the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA).

Intellectual property

The texts, visuals and logo of this site belong to LUMINA Consulting & Partners. Any reproduction requires written permission.

The site's patterns are inspired by imigongo, an art of eastern Rwanda: they are a geometric interpretation of it, not a copy.
